Summer Chill '10

Its almost summer time guys and you know that means. Summer Chill is back. We will kick Summer chill off on June 6th over at Larry and Betty Moore's home. Summer chill shirts will be available for $5 a piece. Remember Summer chill starts right after church so make sure your here for evening worship and we will leave right after church. We will have an event every Sunday of the Summer. They are all going to be great so don't miss one.

Derby Day

Hey guys I hope all is going well. The spring sure is a busy time for everyone, but if you can spare some time on Saturday afternoon we are going to meet at the church at 1:30pm and head out to Matt and Beth's. We will hang out and have a good time playing all kinds of sports. We will have drinks but make sure you eat before you come. We will be back at church around 5pm. Make sure you bring a couple of friends this going to be a lot like turkey bowl. The only things you need to bring are a good pair of tennis shoes and a fishing pole if you want to. Call me if you have any questions.

We had a great time at D-now. I certainly hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. It is time to look forward to the summer. Summer chill is coming up and we have two mission trips lined up. We are planning to have a rafting trip at the end of the summer as well. Keep your eyes and ears open for news to come.

D-Now is almost here

Hey guys just wanted to remind you all that D-Now is this weekend. A huge thanks to everyone that is involved with this event. I really appreciate the support. Please continue to pray for this event. We are taking on a huge mission project this Saturday. Chris, Philip and the band, and the team from CSU are all excited to be here with us this weekend. I am looking forward to seeing you all Friday night at 7pm.

Sr. High Summer Mission trip

Sr. High: We need you for missions work!!!!

This summer we are planning to go to Shreveport, La. July 26th-31st. I am fairly certain that we will be working on construction projects when we get their. This will be an awesome chance to serve Christ and help people. If you are planning to go on this trip I need to get your $60 deposit as soon as possible but no later than April 18th. Jr High Summer Mission Trip

Attention Jr. High gang: This summer's mission trip is SeeSalt and Missions. The dates for it are June 28th-July 2nd, 2010. It is conveniently located at Coastal Carolina University. During the week we will have the opportunity to serve our community through a local mission project (probably construction). Also we will hear great music and have the gospel presented in a new way through a drama each night. Each day we will have a time of intense discipleship and serving at our mission site. I promise you all that it will be a week that you will remember for the rest of your lives. This week long camp is brought to you by the same folks that put on Chilipepper.
